All Remaining Metrobuses were sold at the Lea Hall Auction on 08/08/2010, leaving just the Driver Training examples in the fleet.
3089 - SOLD to GHA Coaches, North Wales

Saturday 24th July 2010 was the final day of operation for NXWM's last 3 MCW Metrobuses, ending a total of 32 years of service with WMPTE and its successors.
The buses were given a fitting send off being used on routes 1, 11A Outer Circle, 31E, 37 and 72.
2903 was the last bus to arrive back at garage at 15:20 having worked the 14:49 Route 1 from Birmingham Town Hall to Acocks Green. |
